Our purpose
Our main aim is to share and teach Gods Word and the loving message of Jesus Christ to our children. We share God’s love through singing and fun and creative activities.
Our Kids Church teachers and helpers provide a space where children can learn to and enjoy worshiping God, exploring the bible (His Word) and understanding the spiritual truths & facts found in the bible.
Teaching
The Kids Church program uses the God Space material.
Teaching & learning is conducted in a small classroom environments.
Various methods used to teach about God and His Word include:
* Storytelling, craft, games, discussion
* Singing songs to praise God
* Memorising Bible verses
* Becoming familiar with using the Bible
* Being encouraged to pray and give thanks to God.
Classes
There are currently three classes in the Kids Church program:
Explorers class – (must be 2.5 years and older)
Bubble class (Year 1 and below)
Adventures class (Yr 2)
Splash class (Yr 3-4)
Xtreme class (Yr 5-6)
When?
Sunday school class time is from 10.30am to 11.30am every Sunday.
The Splash and Xtreme classes are on break during the school holidays. The Explorers, Bubbles and Adventures classes are on break during the Summer school holidays.
