Who are we?
By God’s grace, the Timothy Youth Fellowship (TYF) has catered for the young people in our church community for many years. Today, TYF is a fellowship targeted primarily at youth of high school age. The fellowship name draws inspiration from 1 Tim 4:12…
‘Don’t let others look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity’
Our vision
Our vision is to provide opportunities for young people to develop and nurture a personal understanding and relationship with Christ through studying His Word, sharing, fellowship and life application. We hope to provide an environment in which young people can learn and develop their faith and relationship in Christ.
What do we do?
TYF participate in many activities throughout the year, including Bible study, team games and outdoor and sporting activities. We also have monthly outings, such as bowling, hiking and movies. We’ve also supported Christian initiatives including World Vision’s ’40 Hour Famine’, Samaritan Purse’ ‘Turn on the Tap’ and ‘Operation Christmas Child’. Most of all though, we’re about having fun as Christian brothers and sisters!
